Hi i am a photographer from the Netherlands, my focus is on nature photography but  not limited to that. My first artistic adventures were with paint but later photography was added. I see photography as a different medium to translate the experiences and impressions from the outside world into an image that captures that what moves me, made me wander, left me amazed, quiet sometimes. I have a vivid imagination but everytime when i expore the natural world i am suprised by the strangely beautiful forms, the colors that in everyday life would be considered to clash, the combinations. You cannot think of any combination or pattern or it exists in a more extravagant form, fauna or flora.   

 

Then i am not even talking about the  rest. The landscapes that overwhelm you, the seasons that transform the world again and again. I like to bring some of that wonder into the lifes of others. To share so it will make us see again that beauty surrounds us everywhere. Maybe it will encourage us to take better care and see the small and bigger treasures that are out there. The delicate fragile beauty of spidersweb covered in dew, the hairy suit of a fly, the diamant like snow transforming the forest and cities. In all the rush that modern life creates let's for a moment stand still and truly look around.
